License

This page covers what you can and can't do with [Gx]Ace Lightroom presets, whether purchased as a single pack or as the Master Collection.

Presets are licensed to you, not sold. Buying a pack gives you a personal license to use the preset files under the terms below — it does not transfer ownership of the files themselves. The license is per person: it covers you and the machines you personally use, not your team, your studio, or anyone you share the files with.

What you may do

  • Use the presets on unlimited personal and commercial photography.

  • Publish, sell, license, and print the images you edit with these presets, without limit and without additional payment or credit.

  • Use edited images in client work, marketing, portfolios, social media, editorial, or any other commercial or personal context.

  • Install the preset files on any number of your own machines.

  • Modify the presets for your own personal use — adjust sliders, rename your local copy, build on top of a look for your own workflow.

In short: what you make with the presets is entirely yours to use and sell. There is no restriction on the images.

What you may not do

  • Redistribute, resell, sublicense, share, or give away the preset files themselves, whether modified or unmodified. This applies to individual presets as well as whole packs.

  • Include any [Gx]Ace preset, in whole or in part, in another preset pack, LUT pack, or any other product you distribute or sell.

  • Upload the preset files to preset libraries, file-sharing sites, forums, Discord servers, or any other platform where others could download them.

  • Use the presets, or grades derived from them, to build or contribute to a competing preset or LUT product.

  • Transfer your license to another person. Each purchase covers one person; a copy of the preset files passed to someone else is outside the license regardless of whether money changed hands.

Why this matters

The preset files are the product. Distributing them outside your own license — for free or for money — is a license violation, not a gray area, and this page is the document referenced in any copyright takedown notice filed against unauthorized copies. If you're found distributing these files, the license covering your account can be revoked.
